Saudi King As Anti-Tax As Republicans

Here's how Matt Drudge chose to illustrate this article about Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah, who today told the world that, guess what, gas prices are high and they're probably going to stay high, and that's how the market works. "These countries must reduce their taxes on fuel... if they want to contribute to easing the burden on ordinary consumers," said the king.
Well, sure, that would be one way of doing it! Or, you know, we could reduce our dependence on foreign oil, which would resolve a whole mess of problems we've gotten ourselves into. But whatever. It's a comfortable 69 degrees in my office right now. I'm pretty good with the way things are.
