Harnett to Star in Rain Main as the Un-Retarded One

joshhartnett_fresh.jpg
Accomplished American thespian Josh Harnett is taking his Pearl Harbor-honed acting chops and his square-jaw over to London to make his stage debut in Rain Man this September. Hartnett will play Charlie Babbitt, the character Tom Cruise played in the movie version, alongside Son of Rambow's Adam Godley's Raymond, the role that yielded Dustin Hoffman an Academy Award for Best Actor. "It has always been my intent to work on the London stage," Harnett said. Which is why he made 40 Days and 40 Nights, Lucky Number Slevin, and all of those other gems that prepare one for the London stage.

No, pretty sure he doesn't look retarded. Have you seen Wicker Park?

I know what you're all thinking. I think it to. BUT... I saw August at Sundance and was extremely shocked to see him turn out an A-list performance. Really. Watch it. You'd be surprised.
