A source tells the News of the split, "It's true. They've been having problems for about three months," which seems like an understatement, given that Rodriguez was caught rolling around Toronto with a Scores stripper back in March 2007. The Post reports that Cynthia was seen outside Kravitz's pad in Paris as recently as Tuesday, and has been in the city visiting the singer "for at least the past four days." (Fun fact: Kravitz tells everyone he's been celibate for the past three years and that he's saving himself for marriage!)
Cynthia's mom denies her daughter is in Paris with Kravitz. A-Rod still hasn't said anything. A-Rod's rep has only issued a "no comment." And the rumor that got this whole sordid ball rolling, that Rodriguez and Madonna are an item, is still being denied by Madonna's rep, Liz Rosenberg.
You don't need six degrees to separate everyone: A-Rod, Madonna, and Kravitz all share the same manager, Guy Oseary. Kravitz co-wrote the 1990 Madonna hit, "Justify My Love." Kravitz and Madonna allegedly had a fling around that time, though Kravitz denies it.
For the record, Rodriguez was 2 for 3 last night with 3 RBI, 2 walks, and a HR in the Yankees' 18-7 thrashing of the Texas Rangers, so at least he's not letting this affect him on the field. But that next Yankees-Red Sox series in Fenway is gonna be a doozy.
