A-Rod Seeks Counsel From the Most Hated Man in Sports

A-Rod, Boras
Scott Boras, the baseball agent widely considered the greediest man in professional sports, used to represent stripper-loving New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez, until A-Rod fired him last year for leaking word that he was trying to opt out of his $250 million contract during the World Series. Not very classy! Then A-Rod hired manager Guy Oseary, who introduced him to Madonna, and, well, you know. But now the Daily News is reporting that Rodriguez has brought Boras back to the table to help him broker some sort of peace offering between him and his estranged wife Cynthia.

No one knows if Boras is trying to nip this thing in the bud before it goes to trial (fat chance that'll happen, given that the couple signed a prenup but that Cynthia is still seeking half of everything), or if he's just trying to gauge the situation at the behest of the Yankees (which would be weird, given that the team's front office vowed never to work with him again after the A-Rod contract debacle.) Either way, Boras met with the couple this weekend in Toronto to work his devil magic and watch his former client get heckled.

As if his public image wasn't bad enough, the Post is now calling A-Rod a cheapskate for donating only $50,000 last year, which is probably less than what he spent on lap dances from muscular strippers.
