Meet Macrida Patterson, victim. Patterson suffered an ocular injury when the metal part of the thong she was attempting to put on popped off and sliced her eye. You'll be shocked to know that she's now suing the company. Patterson and her attorney took her case to The Today Show this morning, where a skeptical Meredith Vieira grilled the pair, who are really only interested in protecting the American public and "making Macrida whole again." Since nothing ever happens in summer, expect to see a lot more stories like this until the presidential campaign starts to heat up.
