Aging L.A. Pop-Punk Band Inspires Long Island Slaughter Spree
Posted on Oct 27, 2008 @ 04:07PM
A group of youngsters on Long Island went on a crime spree, assaulting a man at a bus stop and then harassing a woman in a BMW, "managing to get her cigarettes before she sped off," according to the local TV station. THOSE MONSTERS. Clearly they were influenced by the angry music of a band called the "Red Hot Chili Peppers"—one member of the posse of wilders was even wearing a satanic-looking T-shirt with the band's name. Wikipedia reveals this frightening, crime-inspiring band to be "a Grammy-award winning American alternative rock band formed in Los Angeles, California, in 1983."
