It's been a rough week for Sun-Times music writer Jim DeRogatis, the man who broke the child porn-related stories of singer R. Kelly. Turns out, long ago, the guy was shot at over the whole affair! The incident has now come to light with respect to the trial, at which he gladly invoked his 1st and 5th Amendment rights when brought to the stand. But not until after Judge Vincent Gaughan made him fork over some old case-related notes in lieu of a stay in the hoosegow bunking with some Kelly associates who may or may not be behind the bullet mark in his front door. Anyway, it's late and there's more—let's get to it:
