In a striking overture to gay former Hillary Clinton supporters, John McCain confirmed to a Phoenix-based radio station on Friday that he just adores the long-extinct, phonetic-English-singing, extremely gay band ABBA. As a follow-up, McCain's PR people have begun blogging YouTube videos of ABBA. Seriously. The McCain Report blog is run by his communications folks in order to "provide journalists and bloggers with a little more insight into what's going on over here, to provide quotes and information you won't be able to get anywhere else, and to serve as a point of contact for online media." Also, apparently they will hire anyone with a B.A. in communications from a fourth-tier school, because why not? They've got this election locked up!
