Clive Sinclair, of pocket calculator fame—also a poker enthusiast and folding bicycle inventor—declares that the age of the flying car is upon us! You will recall that you were promised a personal flying automobile in the very near future quite some time ago. Perhaps you were never willing to admit that such a thing would never happen because they can't even figure out how to deal with the cars where the Cross Island Parkway meets the Long Island Expressway and also because EVERYONE WOULD DIE EVERYWHERE in an instantaneous mass accident. (Although you can get a personal roadable airplane for a small fortune soon maybe?) "I'm sure it will happen and I am sure it will change the world dramatically," is what Sinclair just told the BBC. Also he does not use the Internet because he's worried it will contaminate his thought centers.
