"SORRY 'BOUT THAT" Bush
In an interview with the Times of London, President George W. Bush expressed remorse that his hard-charging rhetoric caused him to be seen as a man anxious for war in Iraq. "I wish they had gotten that impression from my utter disregard for conflicting evidence, my bullying of those who dissented, the way my administration questioned the patriotism of opponents, and my total lack of willingness to entertain even the slightest doubt about the ease of pacifying a country riddled with violent sectarian conflict. I mean, Jesus Christ, not only did I do everything wrong, I did it in a sneaky, underhanded way that poisoned the well of democracy and made a mockery of our vital separation of powers and the cherished role of reasoned disagreement in our society. And all anyone wants to focus on is 'bring em on'? I just don't get you people," the president did not add.
