Remember when radio host Don Imus got in a lot of trouble for making fun of black people and then came back chastened, with a new tolerance and sensitivity and understanding of how his hurtful remarks were borne out of ignorance? And then he wasn't ever racist again? Yeah, us too. [Politico]
