Did Coldplay jack the melody for new song "Viva La Vida" from some indie Brooklyn band called Creaky Boards? The Creaky Boards folks sure seem to think so, and they've taken their accusations to YouTube, the Supreme Court of Internet justice. Coldplay denies the accusation, claiming that the song was written a long time ago, the lyrics are totally different, and, anyway, all of Chris Martin's music sounds exactly the same. Okay, not that last one, but that's the defense we'd go with.
