Radar advice columnist Spencer Pratt and fellow Hills star Brody Jenner used to be best buds. Bros, if you will. But then Spencer started dating Heidi Montag and Brody got all jealous 'cause Spencer spent all his time with her, and then Brody started hooking up with Pratt's avowed nemesis Lauren Conrad, and now the former BFFs aren't really on speaking terms anymore. Tragic, yes, but also the perfect opportunity for a hastily put together reality show spin-off! Enter Bromance, which Daily Variety reports has been picked up for a six episode run on MTV.

The premise is simple: a bunch of desperate, fame-hungry, insufferably cheesy but eminently watchable bros will compete in a series of bro-offs (being Jenner's wingman! Keeping Jenner's Escalade running while he tries to wrangle up a gaggle of skanks from Les Deux at 3 a.m.!) for the chance to bro-down with Jenner as an official member of his entourage. "I thought [the idea] was funny, and we recently lost a member of the entourage, so I thought we'd have fun with it," says Jenner.

Let's all take a second to appreciate the subtle genius of the title, Bromance. It rhymes with "romance!," yet still manages to invoke the theme (bros!) Also, it stars Bro-dy Jenner. Well done, executive producer Ryan Seacrest! The American Idol host is super-excited about the project. "I can speak from experience. Girls can come and go, but a 'bromance' can last forever," he says. We'd make more fun of him, but we are so watching this thing.
