'SHAPES-SHIFTER Lezark and some unfamous guy

DJ collective the Misshapes might not have the death grip over New York City scenester nightlife it once did, but their principals (or at least one of them) are still in demand. Why just this past weekend, Leigh Lezark, aka the infamous Princess Coldstare, manned the tables at what we're sure was a totally rocking Kentucky Derby party in Louisville! (Did she wear a big floppy hat and a sundress? Did she break down and show a modicum of human emotion when Eight Belles had to be put to sleep on the track? Someone send us pictures!) It seems Lezark will also appear in the upcoming Fall advertising campaign for noted hipster clothing label Gap.

If the yearbook from her days at Toms River High School South in New Jersey is any indication, Lezark got an early start on her transition from average pretty brunette to the embodiment of downtown "cool": She was actually nominated as "Most Changed Since Freshman Year" by her senior classmates! As expected, even the teenage Lezark has the trademark Coldstare gaze going on. (It should be added that her fellow nominee also kind of looks like a Misshape.) Shockingly, Lezark also appears to be smiling in her class portrait. It's a nice smile, even! Though the quote she attributes to "Unknown" is actually from Goethe. Better than "Carpe Diem" or whatever trite cliche we probably put down. More pics after the jump!
