Canseco Shilling for Juicy Athletic Supplement

Jose_Canseco_fresh.jpg
Former baseball slugger, admitted steroid user, best-selling author, and alleged wife-beater Jose Canseco can now add a new descriptor to the pile: nutritional expert. Canseco, whose autobiography Juiced: Wild Times, Rampant 'Roids, Smash Hits & How Baseball Got Big has proven surprisingly credible given how much of a monkey he is, has signed on to endorse German Athletic Technologies, a manufacturer of bodybuilding supplements.

In a press release, the company's CEO cites Canseco's "no-nonsense authority" and "positive insight into bodybuilding supplementation" as reasons why he was brought aboard to shill for the product. Also, look at those arms! Not surprisingly, GAT's products are technically legal but contain a whole bunch of shady-sounding ingredients, including the energy booster "JetFuel" and testosterone amplifier "Testagen." Buy them for your Little Leaguer today!

It should be noted that Canseco might not be endorsing the product because he truly believes in its ability to turn you into a lean, MLB-approved hitting machine: he recently lost his $2.8 million Encino, California, home to foreclosure.
