Early Wednesday morning, gossip Perez Hilton coasted downmarket to appear on new-skinny Carson Daly's Last Call, where he walked Daly through a puppet reenactment of the John Mayer make-out incident. It's all mildly amusing, if well-trod. There's little mention, however, of Perez's burgeoning media empire, most notably the forthcoming "Radio Perez"—a short, twice-daily radio show that will air in major markets and make your morning commute especially tedious. Daly did manage to mention in passing Hilton's upcoming book release, but only to squeeze in a minor, albeit fair, jab: "Why would I want to buy a Perez Hilton book that I can't refresh?"
