Obama Campaign Offended By Clinton Campaign's Outrage

  • "Our opponents have been spinning the media and peddling fake outrage around the clock." So goes a recent fundraising pitch from one of the presidential candidate's campaign. But whose? Well, obviously, it could be any one of them: we're currently experiencing what future historians will refer to as "The Era of Hurt Feelings," and what one current observer calls "the pussiest election ever." (Okay, it's me.) Anyway, your winner this time around: Barack Obama. Yes, Senator Obama's campaign is complaining about all the phony outrage. We await the inevitable Clinton camp response about how hurt they are. [TPM]
