The article noted that as waters warm, bodies that have spent their eternal slumber nestled in the chilly bosom of the city's waterways begin to make their journey to the surface. The article was particularly well timed: "Shortly before 7 a.m., the police said they recovered yet another floating body, this one in the East River off the Franklin D. Roosevelt Drive—the fourth so far in the city in April, if you're scoring at home."
