Rev. Jeremiah Wright Will Preach Anywhere Anytime

Clearly, pastor Jeremiah Wright could not be enjoying this moment more. Barack Obama's former pastor's appearance at the National Press Club today was by far the rip-roaringest stop on his bible thumping roadshow. He threw in a mama joke and a righteous Cheney dis and struck a kind of Egyptian-meets-war-eagle pose, whipping the crowd into a kind of frenzy. He said that politicians answer to "Huffington Post" and "Kos" but that, even after the election, he'll answer to God, whose political blog has, to be fair, made a significant dents in both HuffPo's and Daily Kos's traffic. It's no Drudge. [HuffPo]
