So warns Maxwell Matewere, a spokesman for the Human Rights Consultative Committee, which opposed her adoption of David Banda and warned that it might set a dangerous precedent. "Others might apply to adopt and use the Madonna case to justify adoption and yet they could be illegal adoptions for trafficking organs and sexual exploitation," Matewere warned.
