Julia Allison: Project Yellow Light?

allisonjuliaFresh.jpg
Did Gawker jump the gun when it reported that third-most hated Internet personality Julia Allison and two of her semi-obscure sidekicks will soon be starring in their own show on Bravo? According to the site's managing editor Nick Denton, the show, set to begin filming this summer and tentatively titled IT Girls ("it" and "information technology," you see!), will chronicle the efforts of Allison, Mary "Sister of Levin" Rambin, and unconfirmed tech heir Meghan Asha to set up an "online chat show" reminiscent of a younger version of The View. Reached by phone for comment, however, the usually loquacious Allison—who has never met a reporter she won't give a quote to—moaned and cursed and grumbled a lot before saying she wasn't at liberty to say anything. Pressed further, she cryptically explained, "A show doesn't exist until you are actually sitting at home and watching it on TV," finally adding that she has a NDA and thus shouldn't have said anything in the first place.

So when can we get some sort of confirmation as to whether the show is actually going forward or not? "Um, check back with me in three hours," she says. Try to remain calm until then.
