Is Heidi Montag the Next Meryl Streep?

Last month, Hills robot Lauren Conrad got fans of the faux-reality show totally excited when she discussed the possibility of a doing a Hills movie. "I think if they were going to do a film of The Hills they would basically film it like we do the show and they would just edit it into a movie. It would be like a really long episode," she said. A brilliant concept, to be sure, save for one small problem: arch-nemesis Heidi Montag wants nothing to do it with it.

Not because she doesn't have cinematic aspirations, mind you, but because, in her opinion, the actors on The Hills just aren't good enough.

"I'm not sure if for my first movie I'd let Lauren Conrad narrate me, so I don't think that would be something I would do," she tells Hollyscoop, adding, "If I was doing movies, I'd want it to be with Denzel Washington or something like that."

Montag's quote makes us wonder if she's actually been paying attention to the quality of acting on the The Hills this season. Even her fight with Spencer Pratt at S Bar in last week's episode far surpasses Washington's Academy Award-winning turn as a dirty cop in Training Day in terms of authenticity and nuance.
