Gawker Media Battens Down the Hatches

Well, at least one mogul is still bearish on the economy: In a move that has now seemingly been linked to by every corner of the web, Gawker Media Emperor Nick Denton today announced that the company will be spinning off three of its websites: Idolator, Gridskipper, and Wonkette.
