Brad Pitt has reportedly parted with his longtime publicist Cindy Guagenti at Baker Winokur Ryder. She's repped him since his nubile 1991 appearance in Thelma and Louise. We're hearing the split came when Pitt got sick of having to deal with the media. At all. Word is, he'll be following in Angelina's footsteps as that rare breed of A-list Hollywood actor who don't have a publicist.

For now, if you plan on writing any gossip on Pitt, just call him direct.

Possible signs of the breakup: Cindy was unable recently to say if the wedding stories were true or false. She blurted to E! News that she has "nothing to do with any of this." She told New York Post this morning that the chiseled jewel in her Tinsletown crown is merely "on hiatus."
