EVERY ROSE HAS ITS PORN Milly
Italian porn star Milly D'Abbraccio made news last week when she entered the political arena, rear first. Calling herself the "derriere of the Socialist party", D'Abbraccio is running for a seat in Rome's city hall using campaign posters that show off her bottom. "People don't want to see these politicians' faces anymore," she has said of her campaign tactics. Her previous political experience includes a role in the adult film L'Onorevole, in which she played a hot and bothered speaker of the lower house of parliament. Of course, Milly isn't the first porn actress to thrust into politics, or the first Italian, for that matter:

Milly D'Abbraccio
Body of Work: Rocco's Cocktales 6; The Sex Lawyer; Fatal Exposure 2; Rather Kiss a Cobra; "College"; Milly: Fine, Crazy and Fancy; Vedo nudo.
Run for office: Currently campaigning for a seat in Rome's city hall.

Platform: Creating a red light district called "Love City" with strip clubs, erotic discos, and sex shops not far from Vatican City. "It would be something cute, clean — nothing to do with prostitution," she says.
Election results: TBD.

Ilona Staller, aka "Cicciolina"
Body of Work: Private Vices, Public Pleasures; Bestiality; Dog's Heart; The Teasers; Passionate Lovers; The Rise and Fall of the Roman Empress.
Run for office: She ran for the Italian parliament in 1987. Political Party: She began her political career as a member of "Lista del Sole," Italy's Green Party, but soon switched to the Radical Party, "Partito Radicale."
Platform: For human rights, sexual freedom, and sex education in schools; against NATO membership and nuclear energy. In 1990, while serving in Italy's parliament, she publicly offered to have sex with Saddam Hussein in exchange for freeing foreign hostages.
Election results: She was elected to parliament in 1987, representing a district in Rome, for five years. She didn't run for re-election, but later made failed bids mayoral positions in Italy and the parliament in her native land of Hungary.

Election results: She lost to Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2003. In 2006, she ran against Schwarzenegger in his bid for reelection but eventually dropped out of the race to care for her sick mother.
Where are they now?: She became addicted to Valium and can now be seen on Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew.

Melody Damaya, aka "Mimi Miyagi"

Political Party: Republican
Platform: Raising minimum wage and getting rid of business taxes for entertainers. She once said "I'm a Republican because I love to bear arms and breasts!"
Election results: While it seems highly likely that Nevada might have an Asian porn star for governor, she lost, despite an endorsement from Wonkette.
Where are they now?: After her failed gubernatorial bid, she returned to her film work. She was last seen in 2007's Little Bruno.

Maritza Gaez Arismendi, aka "Reichell"
Body of Work: Fantasies of a Teenage Nymphomaniac; Sex Appeal and Hanito; The Genie of Pleasure; The Sacred, the Profane, and the Obscene.
Run for office: She ran for a seat in the lower house (no pun intended) of Chile's parliament in 2005.
Political Party: Social Democratic Radical Party (PRSD).
Platform: Legalizing abortion and divorce. "The Radical Party stands for freedom, equality, and non-discrimination, so I figured it was the only party that was going to accept me," she has said.
Election results: It appears she lost.
Where are they now?: Raising her daughter, and seemingly no longer working in the industry.
