  • New New Yorker hire Kelefa Sanneh takes a look at Trinity United Church of Christ, whose former pastor Jeremiah Wright has caused so much controversy for the Obama campaign. Sanneh (who seems to be the New Yorker's go-to guy for articles about black churches) offers a calm, reasoned assessment of Trinity and its context in black Christian theology; a couple of low-level RNC hacks are probably poring over it right now in search of outrageous remarks to decontextualize and blast-fax.
