To celebrate their 85th anniversary, the folks at Time are looking back at through their archives and letting you vote on some of the best and worst covers they've put out over that span. It's amusing, in a self-deprecatory "hey, let's generate some user interactivity" kinda way, but it's also educational: By their own reckoning, the last truly terrible Time cover hit stands back in 2000. Good to know that they've got the whole process of creating of arresting and informative eye-grabbers down to a science these days.
