Anyone who thinks Scientology is a religion needs to see a Psychiatrist immediately. In the USA and other countries, we are going to get the abusive Scientiology Cult/Corporation's "religion" status rescinded. Scientology is a pyramid scheme that not only bilks naive people out of many thousands of dollars, but it is also responsible for kidnappings, stalking, harassment and several deaths.

1. Thank goodness the Church of Scientology is seriously considering fleeing the North American continent. Don't let the door hit you in the ass, Miscavige. Not that running will keep you out of prison for the deaths, frauds and many other miscellaneous crimes you've committed in the name of "religion." What an abomination.

2. Pity the poor South Africans who may not know what an abusive and criminal organization is setting up camp on their soil. Research these people, all those who have access to internet connections in South Africa. Janey2, would you really promote someone going to a psychiatrist. While most any Scientologist would save a drowning psychiatrist regardless of how many children psychiatrists have killed (google "psychiatry ritalin death") they are obliterating psychiatry with education and abuse hotlines. While psychiatry and psychopharmaceuticals do not have Scientology's tax status it gets major funding directly from the government or more accurately from the American taxpayers. Talk about a fleecing. And what are psychiatrists doing for us? Feeding ritalin aderol, etc. to school kids to dope them so they can be controlled by their teachers. These prescriptions are often cut in half resulting in their being effective amphetamine and then sold to other students. Many if not all of the campus shootings were done by students who were on prescribed psychotropics usually more than one and then decided they didn't need them anymore just before they went berserk.

Anonymous will be able to protest the CO$ as long as needed because the pharmaceuticals are sponsoring us because Scientologists are keeping people from getting their meds.

Yeah, google it, and you will find that the people that are most loudly proclaiming that ritalin kills kids are Scientologists (through front "human rights" groups). While you are at it, google "dangerous cult."

Is Ritalin overprescribed? Yes. Can any drug have side effects including death? Yes. But with Scientology, the mentally ill get hooked up to hokey e-meters (cheap lie detectors that do nothing) to cleanse them of spirits from trillions of years ago. Does Scientology have any proof that their procedures work better than evidence based medicine? Of course not, but that won't stop them from abusing the mentally ill.

Before you call for the heads of the psychiatrist, ask who Scientology has killed, abused, threatened and attacked. Ask who Lisa Macpherson was?

the kyalami castle is just down the road from my house. i can see it from my balcony, its a place me and my friends go to watch sunsets and have drinks. I can tell you now there is going to be big issues with turning this heritage site into some freaky religious church. in kyalami your either Christian or atheist, people here are not going to put up with scientologists. the kyalami castle is rented out as an entertaimment venue for matric dances( i had mine there) and on sundays you can have a champagne breakfast and have a private view of all the bike racing....

well it makes sense because yes they are going scam a 3rd world country but they are scamming the wealthy part of the 3rd world country, its just too obvious what they are after...and clearly will do anything to get it.
if this was really about just the religion they would put their creepy ass church in the middle of a township( south african version of slums but a million times more dangerous and worse) and offer what they have for free just like the biggest Christian church next to baragwanath hospital in soweto.

however while South africa may be a 3rd world country the Scientology church isn't going to recruit alot of people, this is an area with a very high education system, all the schools are private and kids are taught Christian priciples there. in all honesty most of the people here are going to laugh at the scientologists and think they are crazy...which they are CLEARLY! not to mention that they are going to piss the whole of kyalami off by converting a historic site into a freak cult church. that place was built in the 1920's and has always been open to the public, from what i've seen you cant even stand outside a scientology church and look at it if your not a member, you get removed!

It's intresting reading all the criticism of scientology as a current scientologist. American culture is going down the drain and still it's "bash scientology!" My suggestion is to focus your upset on the current political regime installed in Washington. When we've all got them under control we could then resume the debate on scientology. You americans are going to have RFID chips installed on your driver's licenses this year; total tracking!
I don't represent sientgology administration, nor do I claim to, nor do I speak for them. In fact I don't even know what they do from day to but I also don't know what my bank does either, nor do I know what the bus, train and ferry services administration do either.
But I do have my own experience of scientology, and a very commonly shared experience at that as I have learend from meeting other scientologists from around the world.
I suggest you make comments on what you yourself have directly observed, not only on Scientology but on anything in you life. You could use the scientology Knowledge Reports format, for instance, stating time, place form and event, leaving out any thing imagined, just state the facts of what your personally observed.
I've never seen a person removed from looking into a scientology church, in fact I've seen quite the opposite. I looked at a church, outside, for years before I became a member. No one ever removed me and didn't even try to "recruit" me.
I have, personally, had the most miraculous results from scientology, results I could not have obtained elsewhere, and I did look. I spent several decades looking.
Scientology, from my experience, since 1994, is not some freak cult church. In fact it is very different to your average church, so it's a bit of a waist to even begin to make such comparisons, but no one is stopping you from doing so.
Scientology is not going to piss of the whole kyalami, but some people may find disagreement with it, but that's pretty normal, eh?
Just, please stick to the facts you know yourself to be true, that you have personally observed.

i actually have personally viewed people being removed from looking at a scientology church. apparently your also not allowed to film the outside or take pictures of it. there are so many video's out there proving this.
South Africa is a very different to what you could possibly ever imagine, its not an exaggeration when i say people are going to be pissed off with having a scientology church in our area. we embrace diversity amongst the cultures( cultures not cults) that we already have here and I am so proud to be South African for that reason. Scientology is an American fad and has no foot to stand on in this country well at least not in kyalami,and even tho our cultures are different we all generally have the same religion. I'd like to see you go tell my domestic worker about xenu, she's going to think your possesed by a tokoloshi or a demon and run for the hills. maybe the white community will be ever so slightly more susceptible to the scam that is this church but i can tell you right now the black community will burn down that place before they allow cults and evil into this society. It pains me to say this, but I am a Scientologist who no longer believes. I am afraid to leave the cult out of fear of being declared an SP, and having my life ruined by people who I once considered friends. They will send private investigators and members of their own secret police (google Scientology OSA) to intimidate me into silence. I now know that Scientology is a mafia-like mentality with a code of silence.

As much as the Church has attempted to shield me from dissenting voices, I have done my own research while in the church, and concluded that all the lies they have told me about Psychiatry were in fact true of Scientology. Scientology has covered up sexual abuses of its members at the hands of high ranking officials, instead choosing to blame the victims and forcing them to "confess" what they did wrong. Scientology is the one who forces people into dubious medical treatments such as niacin overdosing while in drug treatment. And it is Scientology that is guilty of terrorist acts by falsifying police reports, infiltrating the government, and destroying people's lives through legal and illegal intimidation. You know what it is? It's a little psychological term called Projecting, I suggest all Scientologists look it up for themselves.

and Scientology is also a religion that is the news every other day for some crime its been associated with. I dont see my pastor being convicted for fraud or breaking into the IRS. I dont see Buddhists receiving lists of names they need to harass, stalk maybe even kill.
the point is why would you want to associate yourself with such problems that is riddled in scientology, your life is probably better off without it and hey you might live to 80, still have money and not have a schizophrenic break down. i think thats a pretty good deal
