The Daily Show Gets Radical

Funny chick and Radar "New Radical" Kristen Schaal finally cracked the boys club at Comedy Central, appearing on The Daily Show as a new special commentator Thursday night. "I'm really happy to be part of The Daily Show," Schaal told Jon Stewart, sounding not elated but hilariously defeated, before launching into a bit about how depressed she was that if Hillary didn't make it (back) into the White House, we had "a 300 year sausage fest" to look forward to before getting a woman president. Last December, Schaal told Radar about having ideas rejected by Comedy Central because "they weren't interested in shows with a female lead," so it's great to see her have the first, of hopefully many, laughs on that channel with Jon, Samantha, and the boys.
