The Democratic presidential candidates have consistently focused their national security message on their intention to boldly fight the real war on terror in places like Afghanistan and Pakistan. But sounds like Afghan President Hamid Karzai ain't really buying it. A source tells Radar that during a recent meeting in Afghanistan with a visiting U.S. Congressional delegation, Karzai was deeply concerned about the impact of a Democratic victory in November on his puppet government in Kabul. "They spent the whole meeting answering Karzai's questions about the U.S. election," says our source about the traveling legislators. "His clear preference is McCain because McCain is perceived as willing to do what is needed to win. Karzai was said to be "very nervous about Obama" and "nervous about Hillary, too, but maybe less so than Obama."
