Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick is to be charged on 12 felony counts, including obstruction of justice, perjury, and misconduct in office. Prosecutor Kym Worthy maintains that Kilpatrick's former chief of staff, Christine Beatty, was on the other end of some horny text messaging with the mayor, and that both lied about their affair in testimony during a whistle-blowing case from 2007. Worthy wonders: "This case was about as far from being a private matter as one can get. Honesty and integrity in the justice system is everything. That is what this case is about....
