  • The American Enterprise Institute's Norm Ornstein is nothing if not prescient. In an article posted today, he discusses the Capitol's lack of preparedness for a terror attack, citing a recent situation where a small plane violated Capitol airspace and how the cops weren't quite sure how to handle it (the result was a flaccid half-evac). Then, a few hours after the column published, the Capitol was evacuated when a plane briefly invaded Capitol airspace again. [Wonkette]
