The celebrity mag beef was on with vengeance over the weekend, with almost all of the glossies buzzing about and reporting on and then ultimately debunking what was thought to be a secret Brad Pitt-Angelina Jolie wedding in New Orleans.

Star, resorting to that age-old celebrity news tradition of making shit up, started the whole thing. On Saturday at 7:45 p.m., the mag's website boasted that it could "exclusively reveal that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who are expecting twins this summer [Ed: are you sure?], tied the knot during an intimate wedding ceremony in the couple's adopted city of New Orleans."
