Representatives from the author's estate have their loin cloths in a twist, saying the movie company has failed to pay a cut of the gross profits from the films based on J.R.R.'s trilogy. The profits add up to $6 billion worldwide. The Tolkien estate is seeking $150 million and might try to block the rights of the studio to produce a planned two-film "Hobbit" prequel.
