< BACK TO Fresh Intelligence Runway'ers Reunited in Tedium
TURN IT AUF Klum on the Runway (Photo: Getty Images) Legitimately auf'd during the menswear challenge for not bothering to make a shirt for her model, Carmen returned last evening with a vengeance. She blasted her fellow designers for not missing her enough but instead acting grateful that they themselves hadn't been cut (who, after all, enters a competition with the intention of winning—that's just silly!). Then she tempted fate by mouthing off to Nina. When judges were asked to name the worst garments of the season (and they predictably danced around an answer), Nina quipped that the menswear challenge as a whole was a shitshow of unfinished hems, models without shirts—and then (snap!) cut to close-up on Carmen freaking out and sarcastically muttering, "Thanks, Nina," about 50 times. It took pitying hugs from Kit and Sweet P for her to finally calm her ass down a bit. Otherwise, Victorya continued her reign as uptight ice queen and didn't even flinch when Heidi told her as much. Christian, entertainingly bitchy as he may be, somehow won the viewer's choice award and the $10,000 prize that comes with it (presented by former contestant Michael Knight, whose back story effectively filled five minutes of otherwise dead air). If there was one surprise, it was how genuinely funny Jillian can be. In a series of never-before-seen clips, her commentary on most of the season was hilarious, as was her dead-on interpretation of Heidi. The kicker came when crazier than ever Elisa brought up an affinity for Leonardo da Vinci, mentioned how she likes to write backwards, and pointed out that "runway" backwards is "yawnur." Preach it, sister. Advertisement |
