MSNBC Did Not Actually Intend to Mistake Osama for Obama

NBC has decided to "reprimand" the Hardball graphics department employee responsible for the gaffe above, in which loudmouth anchor Chris Matthews discusses Democratic presidential front-runner and fake Islamist Barack Obama while a picture of Afghan terrorist warlord and real Islamist Osama bin Laden is shown in the background. A network spokesperson called the mistake "inexcusable." We're still not quite sure how this could happen—it's not like spell-check would accidentally switch the images—so we're going to have to go ahead and agree.
