PIPING HOT Scarborough, sans beauty rest

Among the morning political pundit class, everyone's a wittle bit kwanky this morning, having stayed up all night to, essentially, get it wrong. Nowhere is this more apparent than MSNBC, where someone replaced Scarborough's Morning Joe with hater-ade.

To Boston Herald columnist/commentator Mike Barnicle, who corrected Joe when he said some predicted Barack Obama would take New York: "Did I say New York? Well, thanks a lot jackass, for working with me ... I've been up 48 hours here."

On superdelegates: "They have the loyalty of a starving billy goat."

A rumpled Tim Russert plodded on to the set, too, seemingly for the sole reason of pointing out that neither he nor the other members of the bloviating class know what the hell's the verdict after the alleged judgment day. Does anyone smell a sequel?
