The fashion industry practically runs on swag—the logic being that editors will be cowed into gushing about an It Bag in print after they receive one (adorned with a large bow) and bloggers will play nice as long as you throw a scented candle or some free vodka their way. So it should probably come as no surprise that a New York state employee allegedly demanded cash, a computer, and a Bowflex machine to help "grease the wheels" with the production of Marc Jacobs' fashion shows at the 26th Street Armory in Manhattan.
