TNR Wedges its Foot into the McCain Scandal

  • Looks like the New Republic wants to join Newsweek and Politico in that group of competitors that forced the New York Times' hand in publishing its John McCain scandal piece last night, although TNR doesn't yet confirm that, exactly. It does promise a fresh angle on the Times' foot dragging on the story, which was said to be done in December but held because of legal lobbying and concerns.
