Now that the writers' strike is officially over and the Oscars are proceeding "full speed ahead," the Academy has rushed out its list of presenters for the awards show next Sunday. The expected big names (Martin Scorsese, Helen Mirren, etc.) of course made the list, but more interesting is the number of names who are expecting babies. Yes, the Hollywood Baby Boom is now extending to the awards realm, with a disproportionate number of presenters who are pregnant (Nicole Kidman, Jessica Alba, Cate Blanchett), rumored to be preggers (Penelope Cruz), or were in some movie about pregnancy (Knocked Up's Katherine Heigl and Seth Rogen).

What might all these fetuses wear for their red-carpet star turn? What awkward expectant banter will be made amongst preggers presenters? Who will work the pregnant glow the best? It's hard to say, but it could all make for one of the most annoying, tedious Oscars in recent years. At least the cleavage will be bigger and better than ever.
