Sarah Jessica Parker Returns to TV

sjp_013108_fresh.jpg
Well, she's sorta returning to TV. Word is out that Sarah Jessica Parker is about to merge her arty leanings with the TV job that pays the baby bills. But this time around, it's going to be reality TV. Pretty Matches, Parker's production company, and Magical Elves, the creators of Project Runway and Top Chef, have teamed up to produce an art-based reality program that will pit aspiring artists against one another in various artistic mediums. The added wrinkle of a peer critique is sure to produce sweaty palms and flashbacks for art school viewers everywhere. Parker will most likely remain off-camera as an executive producer, though the team at Magical Elves hasn't ruled out an appearance if deemed necessary—which, you know, it will be. [Variety]
