  • Good news for Barack Obama— Massachusetts senator John Kerry, whose failed 2004 presidential campaign left some longing for the intelligence and efficiency that characterized Michael Dukakis' 1988 run, is to endorse his colleague from Illinois today in Charleston, South Carolina. Later this afternoon, the pair will go wind-surfing together and discuss ways to somehow lose Ohio.
