Hillary Clinton's message hasn't won her any fans at Grinnell or Hampshire colleges, but now, it seems as if the establishment's candidate is even having trouble getting through to the establishment's children. Doubters need look no further than the paltry RSVP list for tonight's "Hillary Happy Hour" (Facebook login req'd.) in New Jersey, sponsored by Princeton Students for Hillary.
Despite being held at the cool-for-Princeton watering hole Sotto and boasting $2.50 mixers, there are few takers: As of Monday night, the event's Facebook page lists only 13 supporters planning to attend, with more than a hundred others taking a pass.
While the prospect of Princeton students being less than enthralled by Clinton's message of competence and restraint might seem unthinkable, it turns out most of Princeton would just as much like to avoid being in any way associated with the campaign their parents undoubtedly helped bankroll.
