  • Two sources inside the John Edwards campaign tell CNN that the former senator will drop out of the race for the Democratic nomination for the presidency in an announcement in New Orleans at 1 p.m. today. The pretty-boy presidential candidate scored just 14 percent of the vote in yesterday's Florida primaries.
