Ivanka Trump, the 26-year-old bombshell daughter of a certain modest New York real-estate mogul, is a rather curious confection. On one hand, she shares with her father a distinct flair for self-promotion that can sometimes be, to put it mildly, off-putting. Unlike her father, though, she tends to say reasonable and measured things when she opens her mouth; as the "vice president for acquisitions and development of the Trump Organization," she's even managed to carve out a respectable career for herself in an era when most people in her age and socioeconomic bracket are just now coming off a second stint in rehab. (She graduated summa cum laude from Wharton, you know! Of course you know. It's brought up in every profile of her.)
