Spurlock Tracks Down Osama?

Leave it to a filmmaker who who can't even polish off a supersized McDonald's meal without ralphing out of his car window to succeed where the United States military has failed. Rumors—and perhaps savvy publicists—have Internet-types speculating that Spurlock may have finally found hipster-bearded lanky lucifer Osama Bin Laden.

But did he?

No one but Spurlock, his collaborators, and the select group of potential buyers recently shown 15 minutes of his new documentary Where in the World Is Osama bin Laden? knows the answer.

How likely is it that Spurlock hunted down Osammy in the remote corners of Pakistan's desert? Not very. But it's probably safe to say that this little publicity stunt will attract more attention from the Defense Department than spending 30 days working for minimum wage.

Rumor lovers are also latching onto director of photography Daniel Marracino's quote, "We've definitely got the Holy Grail." Make of that what you will.
