Rudy Giuliani is the son of a low-level mafia henchman and spent years tracking the mob as a Justice Department official. So perhaps it's not surprising how simpatico he is with the La Casa Nostra dictate that "if you are a good earner and a good enforcer, your future is bright and lined with plenty of mistresses." After years of enforcin' as America's Mayor, Giuliani pivoted hard in 2002 into a life of whoring himself out for high dollar paydays.
As we've already reported, Giuliani made some of his fortune by advising a foreign government agency headed by a key ally to the mastermind of the 9/11 attacks. Now the New York Times takes a close look at Hizzoner's stooging for drug company Purdue Pharma, the maker of OxyContin (known also as "hillbilly heroin" and, in Republican circles, as "Dittohead dynamite").
