Spanx, Observer gadfly Spencer Morgan tells us today, are "thick, spandex sausage-skins" that comely society gals around town are stuffing into their pants to enhance their derrières. And they're everywhere. Read the whole thing, it's hilarious, particularly the part where Morgan dons a pair himself and starts to question his manhood. Even more hilarious: Morgan dates a society gal himself, Vanity Fair staffer and Anna Wintour's step-daughter, Alexis Bryan. Come to think of it, her booty was looking rather robust last time we saw it.
