The problem with a major political assassination in a far-off country where they don't speak English and no one is white? Finding people on the ground over there to cover it.

According to the New York Times, only ABC and CNN had full-time personnel in Pakistan when former prime minister Benazir Bhutto was shot/blown up (or maybe just banged in the head?) yesterday. NBC, MSNBC, and Fox News all had to rely on stringers to provide coverage (Fox News still doesn't have anyone tasked in Pakistan).
