SANTA'S FILLAGE Chocolate

When Cosimo Cavallaro's controversial Chocolate Jesus show comes to an end later this month, New York art fans won't have to look far to satisfy their hunger for risqué chocolate art. Starting tomorrow, performance artist Paul McCarthy will turn Greenwich Village's Maccarone Gallery into a chocolate factory, manufacturing pieces of semi-sweet choco art that will each sell for a less-than-sweet $100.

But look closely: Maybe these overpriced pieces of chocolate are worth it. McCarthy's 14-oz. "Chocolate Santa" isn't carrying a bag of toys or a Douglas Fir over his shoulder. Santa's lugging a big ol' butt plug, ready to bring the gift of anal pleasure to naughty boys and girls everywhere. It really is the most wonderful time of the year.
